About Dice
Coin Flip (d2)
A coin flip is essentially a two-sided die (d2), with outcomes of Heads or Tails. It's commonly used for making binary decisions or starting game procedures like determining who goes first.
Standard Dice (d6)
The most common type of die is the six-sided die (d6), used in many games and for random number generation. The opposing faces of a standard die always add up to 7.
12-sided Dice (d12)
The dodecahedron-shaped d12 has twelve pentagonal faces. It's commonly used in role-playing games such as Dungeons & Dragons for certain weapon damage rolls.
20-sided Dice (d20)
The icosahedron-shaped d20 has twenty triangular faces. It's the signature die of D&D, used for determining success or failure of most actions in the game.
